DTF by Wellington House

How To Apply DTF Transfers and Care For Them

Application Overview

DTF Transfer application time
DTF Transfer application temperature
DTF Transfer application pressure
DTF Transfer application peel hot or cold

DTF by Wellington Transfers are easier to heat press than others. Low temp, short press time, and HOT peel make our DTF Transfers quick to apply without scorching heat sensitive fabrics (like Polyester).

Transfers apply to Cotton, Polyester, Poly/Cotton blends, Tri-Blends.

TIP: If peeling hot, peel the film off in a VERY QUICK motion. Peeling too slowly may result in your transfer lifting and tearing. If you're still having trouble, try peeling from a different direction. If any corners or edges lift up, carefully lay them back down and press again for 5-10 seconds. If all else fails, wait for the transfer to cool completely and peel cold.

Our recommended application for "DTF by Wellington" transfers is:

  • Time: 12-15 seconds
